Bill’s life aboard the EMS had finally settled down to a picture perfect existence. His heroic action in preventing the destruction of the EMS by a rogue terrorist group had catapulted him into a position he had never dreamed of or aspired to. Station Engineer for the massive EMS. He was finally in charge and living large. Then reality struck. When Juanita refuses all attempts to get her to adhere to society’s laws and accepted norms, she opts to leave the EMS for the sanctity of Mars and a much more lenient society. Bill’s first reaction was to dump the entire problem into his boss’s lap. This did not turn out so well and his first and only sex partner leaves the EMS without so much as a goodbye from our boy Bill. However, after some sole searching and lonely nights, our hero decides to correct this mistake. With a new purpose in mind, he sets out on a precarious journey to rejoin with Juanita and form a family unit. Not that he understood what a family unit should or would consist of. To his surprise, Juanita did not respond to his efforts very well.

About the Author

Isaac was born in the mountains of West Virginia during the blizzard of 1942 as the 6th child of Johnie Elisha King and Zelda Boyd. From the start, he was an incorrigible young man and thorn in his lay-minister father’s side. On December 14th, 1959, his father, for reasons we will not expound on here, signed an underage enlistment authorization which landed him in the USMC, 1st Battalion, D Company, Platoon 104, Paris Island SC. Much to his surprise, this was a profound turning point in this rebellious young man’s life. Following his completion of four years as a Marine, he returned to his father’s house in West Virginia and, with considerable effort completed High School and Obtained a degree of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the WV Institute of Technology, now WV University, Montgomery Campas, and later pursued his MSEE degree at VPI. His professional life included government work at NAVELEX, Washington DC; Star Wars concepts at Systems and Applied Sciences, Bethesda MD; Advanced Radar Systems at Raytheon, Wayland MA; Computer Manufacturing with Ike’s Bytes, Hudson MA; and his current activities; Property rental and author in Hudson, FL During his lifelong adventures, he penned numerous technical documents, published technical papers in the IEE Annual, presented a paper at the IEE convention in London, and provided technical support on Capitol Hill, Head Quarters MC, USA Huntsville TN, etc. He was a part of President Carter’s peace initiative and, embarked on numerous foreign travel assignments. He has envisioned and implemented numerous advanced technology concepts, advised and assisted multiple developments in advanced systems design, manufactured personal computers, managed multiple support and network programs, developed multiple standalone database systems, and generally enjoyed the Hell out of his life.
