About the Book

“Raven Saves the Day” is about Farmer Bell at Bell Creek Farms. The chickens keep disappearing from the coop at night, and Farmer Bell is not sure what is happening. Farmer Bell discovered the foxes Ace and Dexter were breaking into the coop and taking the chickens. She tried several things to scare the foxes away and nothing worked. Until Raven, the peacock, joins the chicken coop. Scarlet, the head chicken, did not want Raven in the coop because she looked different from the chickens. At night Ace and Dexter return, and Raven saves the chickens from the foxes. The animals notice how beautiful Raven is and are grateful she saved the chickens. Then they welcome their new friend and protector of the farm.

This is one of the three books for Bell Creek Farm. Julianna is following up Raven Saves the Chickens with two other stories in the same world. The second is Atlas and the Night Watch, and the third’s title is pending.
